Cancellation and Reimbursement Policies
The following policies shall apply to any and all tour cancellations. You must submit your cancellation in writing. Depending upon when the tour is canceled, a cancellation charge may apply. I highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect yourself from penalties assessed for canceling due to medical reasons for yourself or family members. Please note that all tour must be paid in full 15 days prior to tour.

*Unless cancelled because an act of God, death, serious illness, war or terrorism. Acts of God include such things as volcanoes, weather, earthquake or natural disaster. In the event that you cannot take the tour you’ve booked as a consequence of terrorism, war or acts of God, Montreal Tourist Guides will refundthe amount you have paid for your tour to a limit US$1000, less a cancellation fee of $100. If you have paid more than US$1000 for your tour, Montreal Tourist Guides will refund the amount you have paid less any non-recoverable out-of-pocket costs the tourist guide has incurred on your behalf – car rentals, admissions, hotel reservations, tickets etc. We will require you to provide verification to confirm that you were unable to take your tour if you request a refund under this provision.
**These upfront costs represent out of pocket expenses of the Tourist Guide for tickets, transportation deposits and other tour expenses. Please send a message to the tourist guide to find out what, if any, these costs are. In some cases, the tourist guide may cancel a tour due to weather or other circumstance. In the event that the tourist guide cancels the tour a full refund of all monies paid or a credit towards an alternative tour will be issued. If you choose to accept a credit, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded or paid by you as applicable.
Montreal Tourist Guides is not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc.
All requests for refund must be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All refunds will be issued by check, regardless of the method of payment at the time of purchase. The lead-time for reimbursement is 2 to 4 weeks.
